Event rules
Challenge-specific instructions define the task. If the permitted scope or collaboration rules are unclear, ask the organizer before proceeding.
Stay within the challenge
- Use the provided artifacts and explicitly identified challenge services.
- The CTF platform, its administration, other participants’ accounts, and unrelated systems are outside challenge scope unless the organizer explicitly includes them.
- Do not disrupt service availability or interfere with other participants’ work.
Keep scoring fair
- Use your own account. Do not submit another participant’s flag or share credentials.
- Follow the organizer’s collaboration policy. Do not publish flags or solution walkthroughs during an active event without permission.
- Check each challenge’s rules for permitted tools, assistance, and submission limits.
Report problems clearly
If a challenge appears broken, record its name, the time, the expected result, and what happened. Share that with the organizer without posting flags or other participants’ information publicly.
